Scott McKinnon The Memorial Hospital
President & CEO of Memorial Hospital, a comprehensive community critical access hospital with a 45-bed intermediate skilled care facility. Scott has previous operations experience in multiple acute care settings and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. In addition to his involvement on the Economic Council Board, he also serves on the boards for White Mountain Community Health Center, Carroll County Health and Home Care Services, and VNS. Away from work, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and exploring the natural beauties of the Valley and surrounding areas with his family.
Kirk Saunders White Mountain Oil & Propane
Supervisor of Parts Department, Vehicle Maintenance, and Physical Properties at White Mountain Oil, as well as Chairman of Research and Development Advisory Committee. Affiliated with the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) and the New England Fuel Oil Institute (NEEI). Away from work, Kirk enjoys the outdoors and hiking in the New Hampshire woods.
Linda Fox Phillips
Current psychology instructor at Granite State College. Former Director of Carroll County Mental Health Services and Family Health Center. A member of the Associate Staff Training Resources, a Division of Shelley Associates.
Earl Sires Conway Town Manager
Has served as the Town Manager of Conway since July of 2000. Prior to moving to the Valley, Earl was the County Manager of Montrose County, Colorado, County Manager of Grand County, Utah, and Administrator, City Clerk and Treasurer of Nogales, Arizona. His career in local government has focused on rural communities with tourism and recreational economies.
Tom Deans
A former member for the Conway School Board, Tom now sits on the Council’s Finance Committee. He served for 20 years at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, rising to the rank of Senior Vice President. He also served as the Executive Director of the Appalachian Mountain Club for 13 years, and was named an A.M.C. honorary member in 1988.

Carl J. Nelson SAU #9 Superintendent
Currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools for School Administrative Unit (SAU) #9. Dr. Nelson is also a member of the MWVEC Education Committee.
Terry Miller U.S. Forest Service
Serves as District Ranger for the 200,000+ acres of the Saco Ranger District of the White Mountain National Forest. A member of the Society of American Foresters, he enjoys hiking, biking, woodworking, music, guitar and family.
